A single bird waiting for the sun to rise higher, warming the earth and melting the iced branches of her perch. Watching and listening to the activity all around as creatures ready the nests for a new generations birth. As she graces us all with her sweet sound, signs of waiting for spring is all around.
Orange has never been one of my favorite colors but somehow I keep finding sweet orange flowers that catch my eye.
Easy Fun Food that you can just pick up a couple of like snack Fun Crackers and meat rolls with those little cutie oranges that are so easy to peel with no seeds is a favorite. I especially like to take breakfast items because it might help their day start off a little easier. Fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, juice, eggs, ham slices, bagels and cream cheese, biscuits in a can, fun cereals and disposable bowls/plates with napkins is a good start. A good coffee and tea with some bread and butter for toast for those light morning eaters would be a blessing to your friend. If I have ripe bananas I like to make some banana bread or zucchini bread too but always ask if they have allergies before adding nuts.
